Design Meeting

Part of the bathroom remodeling process for Bath Doctor is what we call the design meeting. During this meeting, we’ll uncover what you’re looking for in a bathroom remodel and develop design options to make your dream bathroom a reality. The ultimate goal is to come out of the design meeting with a solid plan so your custom bathroom design plans can be drawn up.

Before any design meeting, we suggest you take some time on your own and answer this simple question: why do I want a bathroom remodel? Take some time to think about what changes you’d like to see. Get inspired by taking a look at some home design magazines or browsing through Pinterest. Here are some things to consider with the design of your bathroom:

  • Safety features
  • Cabinet color
  • Lighting
  • Storage requirements
  • Level of maintenance
  • Budget
  • Flooring
  • Tub or no tub?

Obviously, during the design meeting itself, we will be able to walk you through each of these considerations and give you our best advice. That said, it’s important you have a good idea of what types of styles you prefer so you end up with your dream bathroom.

During the design meeting, be sure to share your design ideas with your bathroom design consultant. Your design consultant is an expert at pairing textures and designs and can take those ideas you have in your head and bring them to life on paper. Even if you have nothing more than the notion that you want an easier to clean bathroom, our design consultants will be able to take this direction and create a custom design plan that suits your home.
