Our Kitchen Remodeling Process
Before we can get started on your project, and even before we can give you a quote, we need to know the scope of the remodel. During the initial design consultation, we will sit down with you to go over everything you want to change in your current kitchen. We will also discuss your style preferences, your wish list and your budget. Based on this information combined with a survey of your kitchen, we will provide you an estimate for your project.
Step 2: Design and Proposal
We now move on to the fun part—the design stage! At this point we will take accurate measurements of your kitchen and help make many important decisions on the future look and function of your kitchen, including:
- Color and style of your kitchen cabinets
- Type of flooring
- Placement of appliances and the general layout
- Countertop and backsplash materials
- Lighting and plumbing fixtures
While some companies will come in and just reface your kitchen, our team of experts specializes in complete design and renovations. You are free to customize everything you want in your kitchen and trust us to implement your ideas exactly the way you pictured, if not better. Need some design inspiration? We have a large kitchen design showroom available by appointment. Once the design plan is finalized, we will put together a proposal for you to sign before the construction begins.
Step 3: The Remodeling Process
Once the decision is made to move forward with your kitchen remodel, our team goes into action. Timing for a typical kitchen remodel is approximately 10 working days. We take the time to explain the process and help you plan ahead. During the renovation we work hard to clean up as we go, removing all unwanted appliances, cabinetry and debris. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible and to maintain a safe, clean work area. When the remodel is complete you will be able to enjoy your new kitchen right away.
We are a full-service kitchen remodeling company, which means we can do every type of work involved in a kitchen renovation, including but not limited to:
- Relocating plumbing
- Installing or updating electrical wiring
- Flooring installation
- Fixing mold, rot and other hidden issues
- Installing cabinets, countertops and appliances
Step 4: Enjoy Your New Kitchen
Our crew will clean everything up like we were never there, so you won’t be stuck sweeping floors or wiping dusty fingerprints off your new appliances. You can start using your new kitchen right away. And don’t forget to take some photos, put them up on Facebook and tag Bath Doctor. We’d love to see how you ended up personalizing your kitchen with décor and accessories!
