Maryland Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

Below are some of the most common questions we get from our clients about kitchen remodeling. If you don’t see your question answered, feel free to give us a call to speak with one of our Maryland kitchen remodeling experts.

What size kitchen remodeling projects do you handle?

Bath Doctor can perform complete overhauling and replacement or partial renovation of any residential kitchen. Normally the minimum project scope we take on is new cabinets and countertop installation, but in some cases exceptions are made. It never hurts to give us a call to see if we can help with your project needs.

Will you help me find the products and materials I want?

Bath doctor offers one stop shopping with all the top name brands you need to create the kitchen of your dreams. We offer custom cabinetry with unique storage options, lighting, flooring, countertops, faucets, fixtures and accessories. Do you install kitchen appliances?

Yes, we do! You don’t need to do it yourself or hire anyone else. Your kitchen will be fully finished when we leave.

I can’t decide between materials, can you help?

Of course, this is what we are here for. We’ll be happy to go over pros and cons of each of your options and help you make an informed decision. We know that making design choices can be hard, because you have to live with your decisions (or look at your mistakes) every day. That’s why we take the time to educate you about your options and help prevent buyer’s remorse.

How do I come up with a realistic budget?

You probably have some idea about how much you want to spend, but is it realistic for the amount of work you want done? For starters, you can look online to check the prices of materials you might need for your kitchen renovation, such as granite countertops or travertine tile. However, keep in mind that you are looking at the cost of materials alone without the added cost of installation. To get more accurate information, contact us for a free estimate. We will write up a few design options for you and break down the costs, so that you can see where your money will go and how much you will need. We work hard to create kitchen designs to suit all reasonable budgets. Keeping an open mind and having a slightly flexible budget can make a big difference.

Can you provide custom cabinets?

All of our kitchen designs offer and will include custom cabinets. During your design process you will select the style of your cabinets, the finish as well as the layout. Islands, pantries, shelves, racks and other custom features are available. Your kitchen will be designed to suit your budget, style, storage and cooking needs. Our unique cabinetry is designed to maximize storage and create mess free neat storage elements. Your new cabinets can come equipped with pull out drawers, concealed trash and recycling bins, pot and pan racks, spice racks, utensil drawers and much more.

What about my return on investment for a remodel?

Kitchens and bathrooms may be the biggest investment you make in your home, but they also will likely offer the biggest return. In terms of comfort and resale value, the kitchen in many homes becomes more than a place to heat up a meal. A well thought out kitchen will add value in many ways. Freedom to move about, storage and organization with a modern look are just a few of the key features homeowners and new home buyers are looking for when it comes to a great kitchen.

Don’t hesitate to contact us with any further questions.
